The Details
-
We recommend driving to both the ceremony & reception. There is overnight parking available at Bendooley.
To ensure everyone can get home safely we have organised buses for the end of the night which will be stopping at our recommended accomodation locations as well as in the centre of Bowral. If you would like to get the buses we recommend staying within walking distance of these locations as other transportation options are limited in the evening.
To pick up your car from Bendooley the following day we recommend carpooling with other guests or alternatively there are taxis which operate in Bowral during the day which can be pre-booked at https://www.southernhighlandstaxis.com.au.
-
Our dress code is black tie. As the wedding will be in spring, ladies please feel free to wear floor length gowns in colours other than black if you so wish. Some portions of the day will be on grass (weather dependent) so we recommend wearing block heels if applicable.
-
We kindly ask that you please leave your children and babies at home for the ceremony and reception. Children and babies are welcome to join the recovery brunch.
-
Your presence on the day is the greatest gift. Should you wish to give us something other than the memories of the day, we wish only that you contribute toward our Wishing Well.
-
Please join us at the Burrawang pub from 11am the next day for brunch and drinks. Please RSVP below to confirm your attendance.
-
We have made arrangements to ensure all portions of the day will take place under cover in the event of poor weather.

Our Guide to the
Southern Highlands
For those looking to spend a little more time in the area, we’ve put together a list of our favourite things to do.
-
For a coffee or quick brekky in the morning we love Rush and The Press Shop. Some of our favourite restaurants in Bowral and Berrima include Bistro Sociale, Eschalot, Onesta Cucina, Monaco Bowral & Harry’s on Green Lane.
-
If you’re in the mood for a glass or two, some great local wineries and vineyards we recommend are Artemis Wines, Centennial Vineyards and Joadja Estate.
-
For a more casual vibe, some great pubs in Bowral & Berrima are the Briars Inn and the Surveyor General Inn. If you’re after a cocktail or two, The Parting Glass is the spot.
-
If you’re eager to scratch the itch and get out for 9 or 18 holes, Bowral golf club is a 2 minute drive from the town centre. Additionally, the Highlands golf club in Mittagong is close by (10 minute drive from Bowral), the Park Proxi Gibraltar has a course, and Craigieburn has a private course for those staying at the Peppers hotel. Tennis courts are also available for hire in Bowral town centre.
-
If you’re looking to explore some of the natural beauty of the area, Fitzroy falls is under 30 minutes drive from Bowral. A little closer to town there’s great hiking routes at Mount l Gibraltar with views over the area, and for a more relaxed walk, Cherry tree walk in Bowral is beautiful.
-
For cricket fans, definitely check out the Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame while you’re in town.

A note from Steph & Fin
We cannot wait to have all of our favourite people from around the world together to celebrate our marriage. It will be a truly special weekend, we can’t wait to celebrate with you all soon!
